On 21 May 2010, Google created an animated logo to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Pac-Man's original release. Players were able to interact with the "doodle" and play just like a classic Pac-Man game.

Like all Google Doodles, the Pac-Man Google Doodle had the company's name on it. It was a different shape than classic Pac-Man games, as it was more rectangular than the original mazes. The game started out with just Pac-Man in the maze, but clicking the 'Insert Coin' button activated Ms. Pac-Man, who could eat the Pac-Dots and Power Pellets alongside Pac-Man.
Pac-Man could be moved up, down, left and right by pressing the respective button. Ms. Pac-Man was able to move in those directions, using the letter keys. 'W' was up, 'A' was left, 'D' was right and 'S' was down.
