Gameplay[]
The main gameplay in Dustforce consists of navigating levels while avoiding hazards and cleaning debris off of the environment either by running over a dirty area or using attacks to knock the offending detritus free of the geometry.
Cleaning the level fills up a meter which, when full, lets you use a full-screen attack that defeats all of the currently visible enemies. This is generally useful for saving until the end of a given level as most levels end in a boss fight of some sort.
Upon completion of a stage, the player is given a rank in both percentage of the level cleaned and "style." If both of these conditions are S-Ranked
he player is awarded with a key to unlock additional levels. This means that levels must be perfected before the player can advance beyond a certain point.
Plot[]
As an acrobatic janitor, you are an adept force against dust and disorder. Leap and dash off walls and ceilings, and deftly traverse precaious environments.
Reception[]
Dustforce recived a 8.0 out of 10 from IGN and other critics praised it well also for it's level design and simplistic graphics.
